a lot has been weighing on my mind lately - i couldn't even begin to pinpoint just what has been the central focus and whatnot.
i've recently got a few people going "wai u don't update no more" or "wai u not online anymore?".
my answer? sorry i got a life and i consider it to be 100% more important than working out a time when i can update and go online.
i also find it funny how people cut others because they "don't comment in my livejournal". i'd like to point out that they don't comment in other's journals. you know, it's 50/50 with me. you comment, i'm most likely to check your journal more often. you ain't more special so i don't need to pay attention if you ain't. :D
besides, people comment if they have something to say. i personally write in my journal for myself, not to see how many comments roll in for each of my posts. i find it ridiculous how some people have standards when it comes to this kind of shit.

i've been looking into cooking lately and bought a cookbook the other day. a lot of yummy looking things. i might try something out this weekend. makeups-wise, still going strong. i'm trying to do different variations of smoky eyes. today's version was a bit heavy, i'll try something less BAM tomorrow. XD
money-wise, it's very tight. very very tight. D:

It's really simple, really. I just stay the fuck away from fandom. Any fandom. The gathering of fangirls in one spot is enough to make my head spin with this atrocious headache. I keep telling people - I am part of a fanbase, I do not, ever, participate in fandom. Because it's ridiculous and it will most likely make me turn away from things that I like. People can generalize and say "omg she's a kpop fan, she's fucking nutters" or "omg, she likes DBSK and YunJae, she's a fucking elitist" or "omg she liks jpop wtf is she doing liking kpop?"
I am both a kpop and jpop fan. Sooo what? Unlike sad fangirls, I do not define myself by what type of things I "fangirl". Before being a kpop or jpop fan, I'm Sophie. I am a person who loves music of all kinds. I listen to western music OMG NO? FOR REAL? THAT IS SO LAST YEAR. My life is more important that an idol's new haircut.

They don't know you exist. They don't caaare about you. They don't caaare that you're on this raging, stupid, useless war between kpop, jpop, jrock, jurban, twpop, HKpop, kdrama, jdorama, twdrama...wtf ever. You don't like something? Fine. Nobody's forcing you to like it. You don't want to read something? There's the fucking "x" at the top of every window you open. Let's face it, ya'll just like to moan and bitch. Grow up, get a life, step outside, look around you. You'll see there are far more important and serious things to be upset over than some girl dissing that idol you like.

This isn't directed to anyone per se, it is my general opinion of fandom. Thank you fandom, for providing me with pretty pictures and videos that I don't have to go looking for too far.
